Curriculum
We follow the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) curriculum. We are following the Elementary Integrated Curriculum (EIC), which is part of Curriculum 2.0 in Montgomery County.
Curriculum 2.0 is aligned to the new Common Core State Standards. This curriculum will support students' development of critical and creative thinking skills. The curriculum is integrated across subject areas to encourage students to apply thinking and learning skills in all subjects. This engaging curriculum dedicates more time to the arts, information literacy, science, social studies and physical education while still having strong emphasis in reading, writing and mathematics. The instruction through all subject areas will build a strong foundation at the elementary school level.
